he Arab American Heritage Council partnered with Habitat for Humanity on June 15th to help improve community gardens on Flint’s east side as part of National Arab American Service Day.
Arab American Service Day was started by NNAAC in 2004 as a way to engage Arab Americans in community service to create stronger communities and make connections among neighbors. Over the past 15 years, it has grown into a nationwide effort in which 19 organizations across the United States participate.
