AAHC in partnership with the Genesee County Hispanic/Latino Collaborative, the Freshwater Future and the International Center of Greater Flint to host the Flint Water Crisis: Invisible Immigrants. This two-hour event raised awareness on the Flint Water Crisis and its impact, specifically, on immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers.
Arab American Organizations around the US host service days their members to participate in. ON May 5th 2018, the AAHC and its volunteers sorted enough food at the food bank of Eastern Michigan to feed 12,000 people!
